Leading the School's research

At AUT Research Week 2026, newly appointed as Associate Head of School (Research), Amir presented the research of the School of Future Environments across architecture, the built environment and creative technologies, to colleagues, researchers and doctoral students.

A record to build on

He set out the School's international conference record, from ASA2020 and IGLC32 to SASBE2024 and GDI2025, and how those events have brought the world's built-environment researchers to Auckland.

Celebrating doctoral research

During the same week he spoke at the School of Future Environments PhD Awards 2026, which celebrated the School's doctoral researchers and their work.
