The conference
IUSGBC 2016 was the first International Urban Sustainability & Green Building Conference, organised by the Malaysia Green Building Council at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre under the theme Better Places for People.
The keynote
Amir, then a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaya, gave a keynote on urban heat islands in cities, drawing on his research on urban heat and microclimate in Greater Kuala Lumpur and other tropical cities.
