The story

Shared questions across healthcare and education

Professor Amir Ghaffarianhoseini visited QUT’s School of Architecture and Built Environment, where he primarily met with Professor Veronica Garcia Hansen. Their discussions explored overlapping research interests: her work on healthcare environments, lighting and the health and wellbeing of building users, alongside Amir’s research on educational environments and their effects on students and other users.

Developing research connections

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on how environmental design can better support people across these different settings. Amir also met with Dr Nazi Soltanmohammadlou, a postdoctoral researcher at QUT, to discuss opportunities for research collaboration.
