Research reaching practice
Germany’s Climate Service Center drew on the green-roof review coauthored by Umberto Berardi, Professor Amir and Ali GhaffarianHoseini in its guidance for planners and municipalities. Figure 6 explicitly adapts the review’s explanation of green-roof heat transfer.
The documented contribution
Report 30 · Figure 6, printed page 13; bibliography page 35. The report also draws on the review when explaining roof types, thermal performance and environmental benefits. This is documented technical translation into guidance.
