Research reaching practice
The EU-funded D²EPC consortium draws on Professor Amir’s BIM review in its technical definition of dynamic energy certificates.
How the research was used
Its BIM section uses the review to explain applications across the building lifecycle: design and construction, facilities maintenance and demolition. This supplies part of the technical explanation within a deliverable establishing foundations for the dynamic EPC scheme.
The documented contribution
22 August 2023 · Section 4.3.1, page 49 · Reference 86, page 85. Technical evidence in a consortium deliverable; no authorship of its platform, algorithms or pilot outcomes, or European Commission endorsement, is implied.
