داستان

Green, digital, intelligent

GDI2025 was built around three themes: green, meaning sustainable and climate-resilient urban design; digital, meaning AI, data, automation and digital twins; and intelligent, meaning responsive, inclusive and human-centred design.

Scale

Hosted by AUT's School of Future Environments in partnership with Beca, the conference received more than 200 full papers. Amir co-chaired it with Professor Ali GhaffarianHoseini.

Industry voice

Thomas Hyde, Chief Transformation and Innovation Officer at Beca, gave the keynote, connecting research directly to practice.

Professional partnerships

Professor Amir Ghaffarianhoseini’s New Zealand conference programme is developed in partnership with the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) and the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC), connecting architectural and built-environment research with professional practice.
